No.1 is our largest leaf English Breakfast blend and as a result has the longest brew time. As the leaves can withstand being left longer it also allows for you to get a good second cup from the pot. This high quality blend combines Ceylon and Assam teas and is full of flavour – perfect to help digest a full English Breakfast!

Ceylon teas come from Sri Lanka and tend to have brisk, full flavours and a bright golden colour. Assam is a major tea growing area in India which produces leaves with a rich aroma, a dark red liquor and strong malty taste.

We supply three variations on our English Breakfast Blend, small, medium and large leaf.

No.2 is our medium leaf English Breakfast blend. Our best selling loose leaf tea, it is a blend of Assam and Ceylon teas with the addition of tea from Kenya, which gives it a beautiful coppery colour. Perfect for infusion in a metal mesh or teapot. Wakes and stimulates the metabolism!

The small leaves brew very quickly for those wanting a loose leaf tea without the wait. A blend of Indian, African and Ceylon teas create a breakfast tea that’s strong enough to wake you up but not too strong to enjoy all day.

Description


This traditional blend combines Keemun, Formosa Oolong and Darjeeling leaf to create a full bodied tea with a pleasant subtle sweet flavour. It has a lovely aroma and can be enjoyed black or with milk.

Formosa Oolong teas are grown and produced in Taiwan. Darjeeling is a large leaf black tea from India, grown in the foothils of the Himalayas and Keemun is a high quality black China tea frequently used as a base for blends.
